What "home" are you dropping the motor in? 440'

Reads: "New engine on stand in garage."
Sees: Semblance of engine in garbage bag, on pallet in back of pickup -
and some whippets hauling *** on beach.

Becomes confused...

It appears the intake manifold carb flange is open?

Lol. Ball busters.
It should have read 440 is home from the machine shop. Was wrapped up and the intake was placed there to lift it out of the truck. Now it’s on a engine stand. And yes, those dogs flat move!

nice looking car, who did you get that engine from? i m thinking of buying a complete crate engine but i have no idea who is a reliable builder, are blueprint engines reliable, they have some advertisement here.

Definitely look into Blueprint Engines, they have a great reputation and are quite reasonably priced. They are also a sponsor of the site. 440'

Okay thanks, usually when the price are quite low there is something afoot so i was slightly suspicious
I see they offer a full package with a new transmission are they reliable for their transmission too or should i look for some transmission elsewhere?

I would have no issues with one of there engine/transmission combinations. They have a great reputation and warranty here in the USA. 440'

It's worth mentioning they don't offer (Mopar) big-blocks.
But yes great service.

Not running it in first/Tuning/Dyno'ing prior to installation? You know.... check for Oil(main) leaks etc. ?
Just say'in....
no fun pulling later if any problems ?
Well most of us don't have run stations or dynos...but I do agree with you. I always at least check the rear main before install using your "hang it ***-down" test.

I hope the OP has better luck this time.

When you are out with your dogs, are you listening to Devo? Whip it, whip it good!
