Whatever you do, PLEASE don't "Chevrolet" the engine compartment.

To me, nothing looks worse or screams I'm-a-lazy-sack-and-found-this-rattle-can-of-black-paint-layin-on-the-shelf more than doing that.

and yes (before anyone says it) the engine compartment on my Duster is black FROM A PREVIOUS OWNER.....but I've had paint mixed to match so I can undo it.

Thanks for the replies. I've been working on removing paint. I've got the entire passenger side done (for the most part.) We've decided on painting it purple again. Going to put a power bulge hood and go wing on it. Also the RT stripe with the bulge blacked out. That's the plan, but it still needs a lot of body work. I'll get some pics shortly.

Here is some of the progress:

Nice car, Texas isn't too far to bring it to get it Media Blasted is it? That front left fender is going to be an issue! The later model B Chargers are growing on me!!!

Thanks for the replies. I'll be working on it more today getting the remainder of the paint off. I'll take more pics.

Looking good. I'm jealous. I've wanted to sand my car for so long. We are house shopping right now, so I'm waiting till I have a nice garage to put it in.
