Heart of Dixie.....
I really like your "skylites' at the top of the walls and not in the ceiling. A great choice in my opinion. Having the foam blown in insulation in the ceiling will greatly help keep the heat down if that is a big deal in your area. Looking good.....

Looks great. I just finished installing the steel ceiling in my shop. I had a lot if help from friends. That was a ton of work. My shop got built in 4 days start to finish, pole barn like yours. Took 4 months to get concrete, had some asshole give me the run around. Finally found a great guy that did exactly what he said. Turned out nice. I used polyaspartic paint on my floors. Turned out great. Able to drive cars on it in 3 days. Walked on it later the same day. Stays shiney and looks great. Look into it.

I have been looking into ballistix clear coating the concrete. Want to save money and seems to be pretty durable.

I’m heading there now haven’t been in it yet. But I’m sure plus I’m really waiting to see how it works fit the heat. Also with the steel and many air gaps will surely keep dust and bugs out. That’s a plus also.

Now that I have been in there awhile echos like crazy will need to figure that out. At work we install snow sound acoustic panels that may be an option.
Fill it full of Mopars and that will cut down on the echoes!! My mom lives out there in the Ranchos, so I’m very familiar with the area.

That's a hell of a shop but it needs a nice patio facing those mountains, what a view! We were just out that way a month ago, not Nevada but we went through the Tetons on our way down into Utah and loved the scenery. I like the old tin siding, did the same in my garage.

Thanks been watching your build as well quite impressive. Yes in future there will be 2 lean2s the length of the building and large patio area and plenty parking for more cars ;) .

How will you tie those into the existing structure? Curious because I had the same thought. Make good trailer storage.

So for my lean2s i will dig out columns front and back the length of the building every 8’. And because i have a 2’ eve i will go mostly to top and caulk a pice of flashing. Could also do a mono truss but thats more money. But if i didn’t do the spray foam first i would pull it down and do the mono truss and i would be sealed. So in your case if No spray foam or if you do batting you could take it down do it correctly Mono truss or do a ledger route out for the tin were it raises caulk and seal.
