Got the stairs built this weekend the hand rail will be 6x6 post with 5/8 rebar ballast also installed 1 piece of siding to get the visual. Also had the kid staining everything.

You will know poor when you are in you're in your middle 60's and the wife decides she wants to be on her own and all she wants is all the money but you can keep the house and shop and all the 'stuff' in it. It's not all that bad actually but you just won't have the funds to do much playing with toys anymore.....

Damn, that's a late divorce! I had my 1st at 25 I think...expensive but sooo worth it lol! I had a nice time playing with other people's toys when I was a tech. Never really had my own though.

Yup. Got married in 1986 and we've known each other since 1970....the divorce was final in '86 after a year.

Sounds like my BIL. His wife went wacko, money hungry etc even though he makes a ton working on rigs in the gulf. Bitch never wanted for anything. To her, he's oil field trash. She has burned many bridges including the one to her daughter's fam.

Lol. I figured as much, sad, but I'm sure you are doing fine. I'm at that crossroad myself currently. Not sure what I'll do. A little long in the tooth for change, but can't see spending the rest of my life like this.

Got much done this weekend but didn’t take many pictures this is just few sheets of t-11 installed. Plus had all the kids working had a little sweat shop going but all were paid.

Not much getting done the snow has hindered traveling and staying to long in Navada but this is where we’re at. More panels up and that goes fast being 4x8 sheets.

Got the post in for the handrails Up. I think they came out great. Cut down some old timber i got from a reuse store they were 6x7 cut down to 6x6 plained, sanded, notched to fit next to my LVL and screwed to it lot of work but came out good.
