Hello. my name is Ron thus the username. I just bought a 1969 Road Runner :happy2: The bad news is it dosent have the fender tag or build sheet :icon_thumbdown: The previous owners are looking but it dosent sound promising. Ive started decoding engine, trans, rear, and reading all i can on options for the year. Dose anyone reman tags that will be suffecent as a replacement for original?:frustrated:

Welcome aboard,my car is missing the fender tag and build sheet also,but the VIN is stamped on the motor right side on the oil pan rail and the rad support has the last 8 of the VIN as well as the top of trunk lid on the rear quarters.if you can list all the options that you can see I think you can get a repro fender tag made.

I thought Govier at least needed a build sheet, that's what his website says.
Are there others that can do it with less? Legally?

Understand, that's why I refered you to Govier in an earlier post. He's the only one I know of that makes repro fender tags and he typically requires title info and the build sheet. I think without those it is a fairly difficult process to get it accurate.
