I was a little worried thinking about what i got in my email last night and then added to some tonight BUT,

"A surge of cold air will swoop into Cleveland late this week, erasing the warmth of Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday."

"Tom. Night
Late lake-effect snow squalls
L 29

Thursday
Lake-effect snow squalls
H 36 / L 27

Friday
Lake-effect snow squalls
H 36 / L 26"

I filled up my turbo and smaller heater in my garage and told the wife i better fill the tractor i just finished up getting ready, imagine that lol in case this is the first of the year and after a day of sunshine and 61 out there, windy as can be which is a warning sign alone i was going to check my weather monitoring site, not forecast! because usually when its going to get weather rough, there is some getting happy and excited and some complaining and dreading the mess coming..
But i see no threads with anyone complaining and Will (Propwash) living so close and usually gets some before i do, heck, no pictures of the waxed up skis on his motorized fun im not a bit concerned! lol, It's coming Will and soon you will be having the fun again im sure! Sorry guys i couldn't resist it and it is the truth, i do check here to see if my weather forecast has got anyone else paying attention so i don't think it will be much... If it is, throw another log on the fire and enjoy it, inside or out.. :)

Hehehehe! Good to hear no worries Ron. Old man winter has moved in and set up camp around these parts! 24" of snow in some spots up north. Lot of the north got 12-16" as of today, more on the way this weekend. Looks like i'll be kicking off gun deer season wearing snow shoes, literally. Worst part is the extreme cold that's setting in. Low's in the single digit's for at least the next 7-10 days, highs barely in the low 20's, and the lake effect snow machine off Superior is going to be dumping snow the whole while. Yes sir I chomping at the bit to fire up the Doo and tear up some powder. Problem is the trails aren't scheduled to open for another month. Guess I'll just burn up some gas chasing chipmunk's around the yard, and take a few pointless trips up to the gas station to score beef sticks and Sundrop.

Grab that old flannel & long john's Ron, cause you're going to need them. I know last winter was a karate chop to the groin, but this one is shaping up to be much worse. Like a backhand from King Kong worse.

Don't want to let you down Ron, so here's where ol' Jimbo is..........waiting quietly to flip that choke and light some sparks:

ron, i am glad i am in georgia yesterday we had a high of 71 and today about 65 some cold temps coming this week end though, but your cold temps up there can be very unforgiven i wish you and prop the best this winter, but that is no excuse for not working on your car,i know you are a tough man and you will rise above the cold weather.

It has been really cold here, but no snow. 73 Degree F high, 46 Degree F low, currently 52 Degrees F,Brrr..... :lotsocoffee:

Yeah, that's terrible. You should probably get a fire going or something..lol :cold:

aaaannnddddd in the snow playground of Vermont....we got nothing. Supposed to be some on the way and low temps this weekend though. Our weather is weird, on the west side of the Green mountains where I am it's known as the " Banana Republic" of VT. The East side is the "Arctic" and to the northeast we have the "Kingdom". We here in the Banana Republic have temps about 10 degrees higher than the rest and less snow fall. Many days you can see the bad weather skimming along the east side top of the mountains and our side is all blue and sunny.

lol, No swimming up here but a hot shower felt pretty good tonight, its cold out thar but the wood stove hedges it back real good :)
The carharts are a great idea there guys, no snow yet but i guess tomorrow is going to be a different story, oh well, tractors ready now for those carharts :)

Nothing like having a good old tractor to get the job done Ron! Picked this one up over the summer to help clear/move timber & land:

6' Bucket & Back Blade.....Snow removal should be a lot easier this year LOL.

Take heart Ron,
I have a store in Ishpeming Michigan. The winter storm named "Astro" dumped 42.5 inches of snow there. Since when do we name winter storms? Pretty early to get that much snow. Reminds me of the Halloween storm in '91 in Duluth, that one dumped 37 inches.
Luckily I bugged out to my southern outpost in Fla a few weeks ago and missed the excitement.

Prop, that's a mighty purdy power implement you got yerself there.

Daryn

42.5" Holy Smokes!! We'll see those folks again come May...lol

Here's a pic from yesterday morning in Negaunee, Michigan...in da U.P. ya hey!

and thanks Daryn.........she's a fun Ford to toot around on. Pretty good workhorse. 3pt., Live PTO, Hydraulics. Was restored 3 years ago, rebuilt engine and brand new rubber. Not bad for $3500. Looking to pick up a Farmall Super M come spring. Don't really need it, but price is cheap and always enjoyed putzing/working around the farm on an old Farmall H my uncle had. Impossible to kill.

Went outside this morning around 8 and it was 35 and windy. Dang. Below normal for sure. Avg highs and lows for this time of year is 72/54.

That's it!! I've stood on that sidewalk as it's 1/2 block from my bank. Where did you get that shot? As you can imagine, they are a bit behind on clean up there.

Re:tractor...since when does "need" come into a purchasing decision? This is America :) It's about WANT baby!!
No one needs 5 guns either....lol Or big beautiful black 1969 Roadunners
3500? that's a steal. You're probably going to need..ahem..want to use that this winter.

Man I'm feeling lucky! Today is our first cold day in a while (33) and we still haven't seen any snow other than a couple small flurries that melted as soon as it hit the ground. I'm usually ready for winter after a hot summer but this summer was pretty mellow (musta been global warming) plus the fact that I have to put the car away has me dreading it this year.

Prop If I had one of those sleds, I'd like winter more probably too

not my season usually

I use to love the winter & winters sports especially skiing, about 100 days a year
& riding my quad rooster-tailing everywhere...
BUT;
NOW, I just don't care for cold or the snow at all anymore,
maybe because it represents, just more damage & work for me constantly,
around all my families properties now, clearing off roofs & decks etc...

It ruins everything, I have to fix come springtime,
forcing me to be spending my car funds on dwelling repairs...LOL

I love Mr. Sun, I am a born & raised Calif. Boy...

No Sierra Cement here yet, we did get some much needed rain...
Photo was this time last year...
