Not As Pretty The Second Time Around

All gasoline stations in this state are full-service. I found the girl who filled my tank last week was attractive (see photo #1).

Today, I returned for another fill-up and gander at the same girl. But during this second "rendezvous" I noticed something right off that I missed (or ignored) on the previous occasion (see photo #2).

This pattern of my failing powers of observation when I find a pretty girl has been taking place for decades. Maybe I'm just vulnerable somehow to the idea of "love at first sight."

Today's lesson: Men seem to be oblivious to the shortcomings of a pretty girl during the initial encounter.
