Not sure what to make of this

I have been down scaling car stuff lately like many. I have been on eBay for 25? years, bought lots of stuff, some things pretty neat.
This past year I have been the most active selling that stuff.
I have sold maybe 50? things this year, likely losing money on every item, meaning some people have gotten some good deals.
But I have recently made this somewhat unexplained observation; 50%? on my items sell on Wed or Thursday.

Only connection I can figure is SS is paid on Wednesdays.

Anybody else made this connection?

Sounds like payday is Wednesday or Thursday for a lot of folks.
Wednesday is payday for me.

SS? Social Security? I guess I would have to look up when mine lands in my account. You could be onto something.

Nope. Mine has come on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday the last 6 mo. No rhyme or reason.

The sweet spot for me was to have an item end Saturday or Sunday, late morning or early afternoon.

I have shifted lately over to buy it now pricing with make an offer.
I knew the price I wanted, I don't care to get the last dollar out of the item, and I am only looking for one buyer, no bidding needed and because of the times vary across the country based on everyone's own personal schedule, it seemed easier for me the seller and the buyer.

For some reason, when I send checks from my business bank, they always arrive on Saturday.

Happens no matter the day I issue them.

NOT the most convenient.

I completed about 4,000 sales on ebay, over a period of 4 years. I was auctioning 50s-70s Matchbox cars. After a year, I gave up on ending auctions on the weekends, Friday evenings, and Monday, during the day. My best days/nights were Tuesday - Thursday. I theorized Friday night through Monday mornings, people were busy. Monday and Friday, were the beginning and end of the work week, so people weren't concerned with viewing auctions, and the same for the weekends. My two cents.

(Oh, and with the ridiculous fees from ebay, the cost of postage, and the cost of shipping materials, I literally broke even.)
