Oil Pressure Fluctuation?

Never looked close until the other day. Cold start up, engine at 1700 RPM the oil pressure fluctuates slowly back and forth between about 46 and 50 lbs. Before I always just glanced at the oil gauge, but stared at it this time. May have been doing this forever, just never noticed. Is there anything to be concerned about?

Once it's warmed up it stays steady except at idle it will fluctuate some. It's always done that.

Is it a mechanical gauge? kinda sounds normal to me if so.

Does sound pretty normal Try holding it at 2 grand steady (at start up cold) and see if it does it then. Anything above idol.

Yes it's a Autometer mechanical gauge. Thanks for the help.
