Ain't nothin' better than an
old friend. Someone you've
worked with, hunted with,
shared a common interest
with.
The older I get, the more I
grow to appreciate the value.
I find myself frequently
texting/emailing those
whom have carved out a
claimed space in in my
memories. Sounds kind of
sappy, but a man is known
by those who trust and
remember as he does.
It's a sad day when one of
those old friends is called.
Such as the case today.
My God bless all those here
that look past the everyday
shortcomings of those they
disagree with.

Very nice writing sir. I’ve always valued my true friends. They are thick and thin, good and bad. There is nothing sappy about love and respect. It’s really what this world needs now more than ever. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your loss of a friend. Take care and cherish the memories!

Lost several friends over the years with the latest one leaving the earth this past August. It's hard to find good friends and easy to lose them. Yup, cherish the memories.
