OMG! The Pontiac Grand Am is getting out of paint jail!!!

Thump, thump.

It's going to be black with black interior. Red stripe. The Grand Am was made from the Trans Am running gear, the Grand Prix interior and the LeMans body. Another cool one if you can find it is the 1977 Can Am.

I had a 1973 Cutlass Supreme, similar body style. With the 455, it was a screamer. I had thought smogger engines were slow, but this surprised me.

The automotive press has told us repeatedly that anything built after 1971 can't get out of it's own way.

I've been playing the "bullshit card" on that philosophy for decades.

I like the body lines, I grew up GM, forgot about the original grand am, thanks, looks cool, what color?

I think Telly had a Buick. Those came with a 455 too. Black on black.

I always thought it odd that those 4 doors had that enormous B pillar...

...but no posts around the door windows.

I was watching a video of the best muscle car engines. Of course, the 426 Hemi was the top dog. They talked about the SD 455. It was killing it with only 8.5 to 1 compression.
