One more 69 road runner build

David Performance Car Graphics took care of the switch panel speedometer and gauges
I also sent this to Shannon at Redline gauges for the amp meter to volt meter conversion no potential fires under the dash anymore.
I highly recommend both companies

Starting assembly
The center AC vents have been totally restored and re-chromed gauge bezel and switch knobs also. GCAR does a great job re-chroming plastic.

I also use dielectric grease for all connections and double check that all wires are secure in their harness

One of the smaller details I disassembled the ashtray blasted it and had it silver zinc plated. Novation is a local company I have do different types of plating and phosphate work

Here are a few of the Vintage Air pieces and the new glove box injection molded plastic. I am very pleased so far with the Vintage Air system highly recommend it if you’re not trying to be perfectly stock. I’ve done that before too.

Really enjoyed doing this, still need to get the radio and center Dash speaker other than that pretty complete.

You can find my story on this site and the A12 registry. I was about to paint the whole car F3 green to clone my dad’s A12 as pictured above. After a 20 plus year search I was contacted about the car surfacing and being for sale. Arrangements are being made to purchase and ship it back to the US from Canada.
Sooo we scuffed what was painted green and are returning the car to Omaha orange as it should be.

When you get the paint on the body is when you see all the hours of prep work to get it straight.
Came out great. Notice the make shift paint booth. It works really good.
