I figure there is no production run head that should be installed right out of the box. So then, what happens if you prep a set of Stealth heads? You know, strip them, inspect all the parts, flow test them OOTB, check guide clearance, check valve roundness, back cut the valves, set the valve installed height the same to + or - .001", do a performance valve job on the head, touch up the runners, bowls, combustion chambers, cc the combustion chambers, test all the valve springs for correct pressure, mill the heads clean, flow them again, clean the heads & all the components, lube the guides & valve stems, assemble the heads and set all the spring installed heights. After all that, just what happens incidentally to the flow rates? Well, this, on the last set we did. Tested the exhaust with a 2" tube.

Lift.......OOTB IN/EX.......Prepped IN/EX
.100.............70/57............75/59
.200...........148/114.........152/128
.300...........210/159.........216/172
.400...........248/193.........263/208
.500...........268/218.........288/236
.600...........277/234.........299/256
.700...........278/244.........305/268

IQ52, I need to send you my stealth heads.

Cool. I'll be in touch when I'm ready.

What would that equate to in tq/hp numbers roughly? Or if that's a little to hard to guess would the improvements be something very noticeable? IQ52 where you at in Idaho, I live in Northern Utah.

We are in Challis (HWY 93), about 150 miles NW of Idaho Falls. Right in the middle of nowhere.

Post #65 on this page shows what kind of power we gained on a low compression 440 just by upping the air flow about 20cfm. On this test........about 62HP
