Paint Match

Went to get a paint match for a non-original paint car from O'Reilly's. They used the camera to take (3) pictures and the computer result looked pretty good. Should get paint sometime this week for touch up use.

Question: I gave them the original paint code for another car and it didn't come up in their system. It is a factory paint code directly off the fender tag.
I am just looking for a touch up amount. Any suggested other options? Prefer not to use a pen.

We don't have auto paint stores in my area any longer.

what is the paint code aND what is it for ? If it's to old they may not have a listing for it. But regardless just get them to take a camera shot like they did for the other
