Looking for some ideas for a hood scoop on my 1964 Plymouth belvedere... thanks in advance

The one in your avitar looks just fine..

I agree with slimt, If your going to run a wedge then stick with what is in the Avatar. If you're putting a Hemi in it then go with the 64-67 Hemi Scoop.

My opinion those are the nicest scoop for that era of Mopar.

It's a wedge but I don't care. Love this scoop.

I don't know about correct, but the low profile one shown on this scale model car has always been my personal favorite.

Both the max wedge and hemi hood factory scoops look good on 64! Whatever you like! 64/65 hemi scoops were different from 66/67 just to remember (curved versus flat back). I like the slim lines of the hemi scoop on mine.

The difference between the 64/65 Hemi and 67 scoop. Early follows the hood contour, later is straight across. Mine has a 67 tall. I chose it for the side profile instead of what the rear edge was.

The 64/65 Hemi scoops had a curved back and 67 had a straight back. If it matters.

It makes a great place for a rear hood-pin on later cars.

Everything fits under my hood on my 62. Let them learn the hard way.

i was againest the hood scoops at first but after seeing and finally bought one i'm in favor of the wedge style scoop. hemi scoops make me nervous as they should. if somebody doesn't know the difference then they soon will. wedge scoops make people wonder but the hemi style tells everyone watch out.

This one is mine. I had a six pack bolt-on on it, but when it cracked I decided to put this on, since it was lying around the garage and it mimics the 63 max scoop a little. I think it's early 70s dart or duster.
