Started replacing my turn signal switch a few days ago and now i can't remember where this thing goes. Tried looking at some videos but an't see it anywhere.

I do not think I have ever seen one of those. Are you sure it came out of that car?
Isn't that a insulator that should be fastened to the bottom of the switch?

Thats what I first thought but looking at the switches there is not one.
Some have it some dont.
