Sony, Canon, Kodac, Polaroid, all a few made in Japan
or a Vivitar or Nikon too (I think Chinese)
all make point & shoot digital cameras
up-to like 12x zoom
&/or widescreen vs reg
digital video capable with sound
(you usually have to resize the photos/videos
I have a 21mp version, Acuvar (Chinese) point & shoot ($59)
I bought back in 2017 IIRC, from Walmart
I'm on my 3rd digital point & shoot camera, 1st 2 were Vivitars
1999 & then 2008-ish it was a lil' easier set-up & download,
good easy to use software... but they didn't last long
1 I left batteries AAA-cell too long & they fucked up the camera
so I got a new digital cheap zoom point & shoot camera
with a rechargeable battery, last far longer... not having to buy batteries
My 2 most unliked, country China & store Walmart,
I hate both, but;
Walmart, they had a great electronics & camera selection
especially here in the sticks (not many US-made even available or cheap)
& I'm cheap when it comes to cameras, just not my thing,
I don't waste my $$ on something I rarely use... I'm learning thou
Got one with all the options as possible for the budget/price range
latest style battery, it lasts a long time too
charge right off the computer usb port
(don't overcharge them, they can blowup/catch on fire)
if the photos are bigger than 12m = 4000x3000,
you will have to resize them to download on FBBO
available from 12 mp-21 mp (mega pixels),
use with a memory card
(get a 16mb card/chip at min., 32mb even better, more storage)
get an anti-shake feature
(or be very still, they are very touchy/sensitive)
get a face detect/smile/anti-redeye feature
& download with a supplied usb port cord, directly to the computer
for around $59-$109, next price tier is like to $129-$179 range
some even cheaper (Chinese crap)
I'm no camera expert by any stretch
it is easy to use, once set point & shoot
just don't take photos of old Polaroids
it doesn't work very well
