Thanks 69B, I tried that through the door from the inside. Is that what you mean? If so I will try again. I assume it was pushed in from the top/outside right?Use needle nose pliers, tweak the prongs, and pry/pull it out. A prong might break off, or not, but this is pretty much the only way.

My guess is I’ll need two as the first one I took off broke very easily. Strange as its spring steel and I wouldn’t think that it gets brittle over time but I guess they do.I have 1, possibly two if someone needs them
