My car made 938 rwhp on my dyno today but not a mopar unfortunately. Still cool as heck tho.

This will be my year to get out of the nines... @dvw , did you start an 8 seconds or faster thread yet?

That's what my car mph at in the 1/8, and that is solid in the 8s in the 1/4 unless you have something losing power on the back half.

Nothing losing power. I’m only at 17psi on those runs. I think it’ll go 170 in the quarter when it’s turned up.

Reason I asked is mine was losing power, figured out the issue now, can't wait to try it out.

What did you find?
Replacing valve springs. Then back on the dyno, believe that's the fix.

As you can see, at 19 psi it loses 500 hp from 6700 to 7200, but at 15 psi it just dips, then recovers, and only makes 90 less hp. So I believe the cut rate springs I used are the culprit. Car felt like someone covered the turbo inlet at 900 ft.

I'll update ya when I make the swap and get back on the dyno. Thanks.for asking.

Buddy of mine ran a 7.90 last weekend in a 70 challenger.
Then opened the bottles and crushed the guts in the PG...and it's no 2 dollar transmission

440 based, 493ci , 12.2:1 compression, ported Indy EZ heads, T&D rockers, custom Hughes solid roller, 1050 CFM carb, standard gear ratio 727 with stock internals (foot brake) 8 inch ATI converter, Dana w 4.56's, 9inch slicks, race weight 3650lbs. First weekend out with new motor - 9.94 @133mph. Best 60ft was 1.37 on 7 year old worn out tires.

New band and drum. Dialed the 1st kit way down, 7.60.
Then blew off a converter bolt boss( unused) and it hit the ground a fired right through the floor pan. Tranny comes out again.

Not bad at 4000 pounds through full 3” exhaust. All motor.

What’s the cam specs, actual tire size, intake manifold used, trans and converter stall and finally, your gear ratio.

After all, some guys wanna know what it takes and if they copy you, it’s a sincere compliment to you.
