Power steering cooler install question

I’m planning to install a power steering cooler soon, and wonder if it matters that the cooler will be higher than the pump ? I’m planning a spot in front of the radiator, mounted right below the upper core support, hoses going thru the core support, under the battery tray, and to the pump and steering gear. Any opinions/thoughts/suggestions ? Picture is the cooler I have.

If plumbed into the return from the steering box I think the pump will push the air back to the reservoir. Lots of OEMs mount the coolers above the pump.
