I have a friend that added this cooler (Dorman 918-319 Power Steering Oil Cooler) to his 1970 RR with a 440 and 4.10 gears. He made a bracket so it would attach to the PS pump. He paid around $40 for it

I was thinking about getting one of these cheap coolers since they have brackets that can be modified, and it looks like the tubes are soldered, so they can be altered to fit, too, but I chickened out.

YES !
I am happy that vendors go to the trouble to make OEM type parts but four hundred bucks is stupid money.
When someone else makes a part costing one tenth the $400, it really drives home how stupid it is to spend the big money unless you’re driving a correct restoration.
Hey….I’m not against spending money on something that I want. I bought one of those lightweight lithium car batteries that cost about three times what a regular battery does.
My problem with the Glen Ray unit is that it provides no mechanical advantage over a similar part that is a fraction of the price. This battery spins the engine over faster than ever and weighs 33 lbs less than a regular battery.

Can't beat the price of one from a salvage yard as you stated in your CHEAP thread:
