Pictures are adventurous when taking hundreds of pictures of work step by step this is what I did with the 383 mostly. I’ve got another few to upload right now im fingers are a little slow from corbal tundril syndrome and this frigid weather Memphis is experience but wait several minutes around 12-30 minutes haha and I’ll have it uploaded

What if there was a show called vintage engine builders. People who show step by step the history of what this engine conversation piece is around and in what makes a super commandos or tnt while presenting pictures of the engine in terrible condition like this 383 but someone professional doing it.

the vin code is 8A342936

8 means 1968 I believe.

Thr heads are off showing a sign a lot will see when a motor has been sitting outside under a shelter with a tarp over it for decades in tall weeds.

Thr rods are shot and pistons.
except 3 rods and 4 pistons I believe. I know the guy was telling the truth because look at the dirt layer on that transmission housing.

the pistons and a word salad head bolt that I should have posted earlier.

Look at the Devon in the water jacket can even see it facing above it at the water holes that’s what’s taking so long to fix.

Some miscellaneous thoughts from in the middle of taking it apart in this 383hp story.

I love picture stories with barn finds and old forgotten engine like this that say not loved but just another love to be covered up by a tarp for along time.

Dad says thr crankshaft looks pretty good and can be useable.

That what I had to do to number 2 piston where the crack is to relieve pressure. Some
More pics I’m cold been out here on this swing for 30 minutes now wanting attention.

One of the rarest hp manifold exhausts I believe other than the a body, it’s the c body hp exhaust.

383 code manifold because the part where the exhaust flange bolts to has a shorter throat. 440 has a longer throat.

I still do the original listerine and this is how 60 percent my bathroom looks. I ain’t ocd. Some customers I believe need to know these type of things. I’m trying to show more personal things and fithiness and how I live now that I atarted thinking about soon after understanding how to flip my cards upside down on this challenger. This experiment is to see what likes amd dislikes are based upon when starting a business like this when confessing things that makes me look terrible on me with the usual light confessions and then show in pictures how my moods is doing through it all things with depression slacking amd such to see what a future business my be based upon when a hivemind is present in a economy where the hive knows all what going on personel and public in the population of people. I’ve seen likes agrees and thanks boost my psychological it’s going to my head with positive like people understand that exacorly normal than what’s not normal but I still have these frustrated outburst I’ve seen on for b bodies. But this is seriously me trying to build a business after so much embarrassing failures like doing immature things in my life and seeing how far I could go.. I’m still scared to start trying to sell.

All negative things I’ve said about myself is true and not a false joke but i will drift off into my fall back like into a sort of psychology of drama comedy like the movie tropic thunder laughing when the man was blown up by a bomb when the actors didn’t know that was a real bomb lol.. I’m a dark comedian yet I treat dark events with seriousness is what I’m trying to say like tropic thunder or how I stoped worrying about thr bomb Cold War movie.

I wish the 906s was four bolt heads. I’d love someone to make a somewhat linkage that the 6 bolt heads can work with a 4 bolt still will probably only lead to oil leaks because of thr overlapping fasket ontop of a fastener that 90s out.

pretty sure if I use these on the 440 or later model 383 probably they will have leaks eventually needed an new gasket that hadn’t sponged in on its self to create a firm bond in the material by pressure that makes wider areas within thr rectangular entrance of the valve cover and gasket leading to more leaks over time than 6 bolt heads.

French lake auto parts store has great prices and great warranty service so I’m hoping I can get my money back and only pay for shipping so far. The 361 cam out terrible but it’s the price of learning here. I got lucky with the 440 and fell flat and lost money on thr 361..

Same person I bought a good 1967 with 915 heads 440 from.

Freeze problem happened here i believe.
I’m going to package everything up intake heads and block and exhaust manifolds amd send them back hopefully after my return has been read.
It’s thanksgiving break for Frenchpake auto parts store so hopefully I hear from them after while..

I’ve been afraid lately but I’m going to start asking for parts on for b bodies to see if there any deals out there.

Trying to find a early 61-63 383 block with 4 bolt heads for the offenhouser tri power and valve covers.

The customer needs to know these mistakes like the 361 I make because iam a amateur learning.

Goodnight everyone! I’ll talk later I’m taking a break for a few days! Goodnight y’all! Happy thanksgiving! And merry Christmas to all! I’ll be back on soon.

Okay I promise myself and my dad I’m taking a break for a few weeks. I’ve got to get caught up. The 383 block is finally done.
Heads are about done.. so I’ll pop up and show a few pictures when we start building the 383. Goodnight y’all. And I apologize for my constant writing I love writing for attention. Promise to for b bodies two week break..

That sort of the tread I want for thr challenger with black wheels but stock tire size for a challenger. I think jeep gator semi gloss with a flat black luggage rack and flat black shaker hood lowered alittle bit with rugged tires would be awesome… it will be a project for when I’m older and have enough money to make a 4wd with stock rugged tires lowered some 1970 challenger out of it with a flat black bumper guard for thr 1970 challenger black inserts and grill. With SE trim that pops with the green interoir… my last post see y’all in a few weeks…

I love a aggressive lowered stance but not lowered to where it inflicts upon suspension in a awd car now
