Time for a new grill, old one rusted out. I haven’t been impressed by any of the grills I’ve seen in the last ten years. Anything out there better than the basic grills at the big box stores? (Preferably under $1,000).

How big of a grill?
How many burners you want?
Need more intel for accurate, and honest answers!!!!
Broilmaster. $700-$800 depending upon its size. Just a great all around grill that is easy to work and lasts. I wouldn't be afraid to buy a used one if you can find it.
I agree with Weber as the best. Mine is almost 20 years old and functions like new.I am in need of a new one as well. My old Weber Spirit has rusted out. It is probably 10 years old and I bought it from the local hardware store. It was assembled and he delivered it to my patio. He always had parts in stock for it like grates and racks. I never had an issue with it. Just gas and occasional cleaning. Too bad the local store owner retired and the no one tool over. I will look for another like it and a seller that carries parts. I will probably downsize a bit. Only 3 of us here now and I do use my smoker as well. It has searing capability.
Here's a Weber Spirit that would be a good replacement for my old one. It looks like it's heavy built. $379
I have a 3 burner now and rarely use all the burners at once. The 3 burner is $479 I like the big wheels and no cheap azz little casters like a lot of grills have.

I've tried them all over 40 years.. best so far is Nexgrill from Costco. Have had a 4 burner (w/side burner) at the lake now for 6 years, left outside with ZERO rot out or burner degrading. Bought another, that's a basic 3 burner, for the house last year. Delivered to the door for peanuts..
.weird and I just went to both Costco US and Canada and neither have the Nexgrill showing anymore. I guess the container ships stopped supplying.. lol
