My brother-in-law went to the hospital 30 years ago with a wire brush piece stuck in his throat from a burger off my dad's BBQ.
My dad always used a wire brush to clean the grill, ever since I was a kid.
The ER DOC was trying real hard to find it and get it out.
My brother-in-law was 1 minute away from having major neck surgery, when the ER DOC said I'll try one more time
to get it out with long pliers. He read all the x-rays a bunch of times with several other doctors, stuck the pliers down his throat, found it, grabbed it and got it out.
We all went home happy and he had a real bad sore throat for 2 weeks.
Very Lucky Guy.
I'll never use one of those brushes again.
I tell everyone I know about that story, and they walk to their BBQ and throw that brush right out.
