Pulleys/Brackets/ETC Paint

1970 RR were the pulleys, alternator brackets and motor mount brackets semi gloss black or gloss black.

They used gloss paint. They were not prepped and painted with the best of care, no primer or sanding. They were done in mass quantities a production environment.

Some parts were dipped and not sprayed, like the motor mount brackets. It would seem likely that the pullers were dipped. Takes more effort to spray paint all sides of those.

So the end result is not a full gloss, but more shine than a semi gloss paint of today.
