Purchased a used MSD 8387 Distributor

Anyone ever run into the distributor not having a grey wire for tach. I purchased it used and noticed no grey wire, looks like an older unit. Thanks

Not being a smart ***, but customer service is still pretty good with them....I'd give them a quick call for info.

If the dist is used with inductive ign, connect the tach wire to the coil [-] terminal.
If using a CD 'box' like a MSD 6X, it will have a dedicated tach wire/connection.
