Quick question on EV2 paint codes

Hi all, I am finally to the point of picking out paint for my 72 roadrunner. The paint shop did a search of the code and painted a swatch of it and it came out with some flake in it. Did ev2 originally have flake in it or was it a solid color? I appreciate any help thanks a million!!

assuming 72 ev2 is the same as 70....yes, it is metallic............ and on the red side of orange.....it's called hemi orange on a dodge, tor-red on a plymouth

It is the same EV2 . I just found out from an original piece on the car that was factory and it is in fact the right color. I am so excited! Thanks!
