Can those quick ratio arms work on a manual box and if it can what advantage if any does it get or is this just bad thinking. Thanks for any input

Nevermind just got the answer from pst.

Yes the fast ratio can be used with manual boxes or power with small sector shaft 1 1/8". This will give a 12:1 ratio if using a 16:1 box.

Thanks
James

Wow,... I've heard the 16:1 can be a bear to steer at low speeds or stopped. I can't imagine what a 16:1 box with fast ratio arms on it would be like with the ratio reduced to 12:1. What is that like 2.5 turns lock to lock.

Hope you eat your Wheaties before wanting to drive that!!

The AAR Cuda and T/A Challenger came equipped from the factory the fast ratio originally. Definitely not parallel parking friendly LOL

Thanks for the info, PST

I have a brand new Javelin- saganaw fast ratio manual box if anyone needs one
