I've only go the wipers left to remove before I take my 68 Coronet to the painters. Stupid question but how the heck do they come off???

All the ones I've previously removed the ends were plastic caps that covered a nut, without forcing the end, they don't seams to be the same.

Is there a circlip or pin? Am I missing something?

Thanks!

Lift up the arm, away from the windshield, and there will be a small clip that moves to the side. It will lock the arm in that position, then wiggle it while pulling away from the pivot arm.

they aint easy to get off of there....especially if they have been on there for 40 or so years!

do what 69 Bee said,,,,and they will come off,,,,,eventually

Thanks guys, I did try some thing similar but nothing happened so I thought I had it wrong. I'll give it a bit more of a strong arm this time round!

Thanks again!
