Something here doesn't pass the smell test. The spring seems to be holding the sway bar in the bracket on the frame? What goes here? Thanks Jay

That's how mine is, but it does not have a sleeve around the curved part. But the spring and the bar are not touching on mine.

Thanks, so apparently it's a factory sway bar? It seems to be walking to the right for some reason? I will have to look it over, maybe it bent or the bushing are wore out? It seems to almost be out of the bracket on the upper end on the frame rail on the right side. Thanks again, Jay

Sure. Factory sway bar at least on my 340 73 RR with an 8 3/4. Yours is in better shape than mine! Maybe bushings are worn out and new ones might bring yours back to center.

The OP's link bushings are definitely shot.

What does the other side look like?

Was the car in a wreck? Springs moved in?
