The family of an elementary school classmate owned this station on Rt 1 in Richmond, Virginia (Henrico County) for many decades. Good people.

Toys for Tots this morning at Cars & Coffee - Savannah; Habersham Village.

Rainy day, but the faithful came out to donate toys. Another one will be held tomorrow further south.

Thats not my idea of a “cars and coffee”, car show, or cruise… just sayin. Maybe I like the old stuff too much, but at least its for a good cause

Damn, I just went to Burger King yesterday where they sell mini ones. Now I want one!

These Ground Pounders are kind of cartoonish, but kids will love them. They can be found at Walmart.

They are not my favorite but I would not mind having one. Did you buy the Paul Rossi Challenger behind them? I would buy this instead though…..

Hardly anyone brought their old cars since it was raining.

A typical C&C-Savannah show has lots of old British cars, a handful or two of old European cars, a handful of old Chevys, a handful of old Fords, a few old exotics, a few new exotics, and rarely any old Mopars. I've only seen two old Mopars this year; a nice Challenger convertible and a nice Duster with a 3x2 carb setup.

Old and new Vettes show up; the owners are in their 70's.

New Mustangs show up; the owners are in their 30's.

New Camaros are a rare sight; the owners are in their 30's.

New Challengers and Chargers are a rare sight; the owners are in their 30s except for me with a 5.7 R/T. The other guys have the Scat Pack and Hellcat models.

Newer BMWs & Porsches are among the regulars; the owners are in their 30s and up and up (older than me). Many of these guys take their cars to track day events.

Lots of old veterans. Nice guys.
