Uh oh, wore the scraper edge off.
You mean, car people!! It's about the people and the cars, not the brand, style, or year. I would fit right in.Hardly anyone brought their old cars since it was raining.
A typical C&C-Savannah show has lots of old British cars, a handful or two of old European cars, a handful of old Chevys, a handful of old Fords, a few old exotics, a few new exotics, and rarely any old Mopars. I've only seen two old Mopars this year; a nice Challenger convertible and a nice Duster with a 3x2 carb setup.
Old and new Vettes show up; the owners are in their 70's.
New Mustangs show up; the owners are in their 30's.
New Camaros are a rare sight; the owners are in their 30's.
New Challengers and Chargers are a rare sight; the owners are in their 30s except for me with a 5.7 R/T. The other guys have the Scat Pack and Hellcat models.
Newer BMWs & Porsches are among the regulars; the owners are in their 30s and up and up (older than me). Many of these guys take their cars to track day events.
Lots of old veterans. Nice guys.
God, trying to tell him something!!Uh oh, wore the scraper edge off.

Wow! I wonder where that one is now? "R" code wagon!
Jeez, I remember looking at a ‘62-64(?) Galaxy conv 401 tri-power 4spd in red at a used car lot many, many years ago.
Wayne,
I've spent my life running forward, to what, sometimes I wonder. I don't live in the past, but somethings just remind me of a warm and fuzzy place that just reflects a simpler time and place to me. I usually post for that reason.
