Rear Glass RIBBON SEAL which mfgr?

Looks like a few mfgrs out there for the rear glass ribbon seal. Looks like 3M and other more Mopar specific?

Which is the one I want?

What problem are you solving with the pinch weld primer?

The prime makes for a good glue to hold ribbon in place. Just make sure that if you buy in bulk that you don't cut it to short after installation. You will have a gap if you do I always do the install then let it set for a few hrs then cut to fit.

the ribbon will grab the primer like no other

Butyl is tacky stuff, all right, especially after warming up in the sun. 3M makes the best products. Tacky even during winter in a cold shop at 30F ambient.

3M 5/16" ribbon. 3/8" is too thick!

you should be able to buy a little bottle.....try napa if not on line

Southwest rubber might have the ribbon and napa has the primer.
