Rebuilding a 1972 Plymouth satellite on a budget

Welcome from Alabama, I agree with your thinking, mechanical first, show and shine later. In most cases a 318 is as tough as as a Marine. You make a great pair.

Adam
you need to start a build thread,
or maybe go to the appropriate forum section
there's lots of them here
many of the questions have been asked 100 times
& people answered
you can also use the "Search" function tab, on the top right of every page

this section isn't intended for a Q&A or tech section
it's just the welcome wagon
to get to know each other & share a story (or 3 :poke: )
& maybe a few photos (we do love our car ****)

good luck
I appreciate the advice, I'll head over and create a build thread straight away!

Hello and welcome from the Old Country (England)

Best looking car Mother Mopar ever made!
I saved my 71 GTX from the scrapyard crusher.
Its taken me 25 years to sort out the 'rust issues'...
But she will be on the 1320 this year come rain or shine.
UK NSS (nostalgia Superstocks) with a 512ci engine...

I know you are gonna say that a 71 hipo 440 is 'orange'!
Not in Canada where she was built in 1971, they was painted Turquoise-BLUE...:canada:
(rare factory option of Aluminum heads too):fool::screwy::nutkick:

Welcome from New Zealand.

Fantastic and very worthy project. Can't wait to see it become roadworthy. Keep us updated.
