I'm rebuilding my carb on the 400 Cordoba, and Some helpful guy posted a website detailing the rebuild of the thermoquad a month ago, but I lost the post. There were no Instructions in the kit I had, for settings, etc. Thanks for any help.

The biggest thing is I took it apart a month ago, and I must be brain dead. There is a metal rod type lever about an inch and a half long that rides on something that has a pin holding it to the Inside, and I can't remember where it is supposed to go. I sure love AFB'S!

Thank you! it is the cam lever. however, my 77' carb didn't have a secondary air baffle, and there isn't one in the kit.
Any worries?

I think you will be ok , its been a while since I ran one , but I used to put them together too. IIRC, ive left them out on occasion

I'm sure this carb's original. 35k actual miles, and the carb looks it. I had really dried up texas type gaskets. They curled when dry, and fell apart. I appreciate the help.
Rustyratrod on the FABO suggested permatex for the bolts, I didn't realize those bolts contribute to vacuum leaks. That explains a lot.

The baffle as in the metal plate in the secondary side? I have a spare on if you want it. PM me for it.

I never had a working carb without it so I don't know if leaving it out is OK. The engineers put it there for a reason.

your right! it's the newest car I have, so I haven't gotten a service manual for such a new car!LoL
I hate a carb kit with no illustrated spec sheet.
