Hello,

I took off the power steering and air conditioning completely. Since I needed new brackets I just left the Power steering off. I haven't driven it yet, but should the nipples on the steering column be plugged? Is there anything bad about driving it the way it is for awhile? Also the air conditioning was removed as well... there is open threads on the firewall where the hoses were screwed onto as well should those be capped?

Thanks!

Yes cap the ac lines, the steering sector the high & low lines should be looped together until you swap to a manual box or fix your power box.

What do you use to loop them together?

You happen to know the size of the threads off hand?
