Removing dash with ac/heater box

Pulled the windshield , 1970 charger ac car. Now I want to pull the dash out. Do I need to pull all the duck work and hoses off first underneath ? 1st time doing this so any help is appreciated . thanks

Just take the top windshield bolts out and loosen the two lower. Let it drop back towards the seat. You can see and reach a lot from the top.

Gotta drop the steering column, obvious but thought it was worth mentioning..
