I thought the trunk pics looked pretty good, spot welds are there, lines/lumps in the undercoat look right......... pics are a little tough to see........ I think it had a complete roof put on it at one time

Why do you say that?

lack of visible spot welds on trunk floor.
you cannot miss them on a original.
2 rows of them follow right up the rail
in your blasted pic
look at the discoloration at the roof to quarter seam
something is going on there

get a couple of close ups of the trunk floor
and pics of those wire tabs
the tabs are a dead give away

if you look at the first seam pic, it looks like it was cut below the seam and then spiced in

quarters are far more likley. ... but **** happens lol............. need close ups of all the pinch welds and door jambs, or yank the rear interior side panel

The quarters are stamped and have vin in trunk rail

Trunk rail (with "hidden" VIN) is a separate piece, also spot welded into place.

All of us are trying to help you. You asked a ? and now seem defensive of the answers. Obviously you had second thoughts, or you wouldn't have questioned the roof seam welds.

Not defensive at all... I do think roof skin looks odd. It is a vinyl roof car as well

look under the gutters in the pics, they didn't get primer there....... I see blue/black
