Rook's 68 Charger - What have I gotten myself into this time?

Looks like the HP was an add on. Judging by the font and placement

Continuing to strip the underseal - rear seat pans look good!

I've noticed in some places that there is a dusty layer of rust when I take off the underseal. Is that an indication the job wasn't done right the first time it was sealed up?

Got the stronger paint stripper for this weekend's session.
Also my AMD panels are on order so I'll be gearing up to cut the quarters, tubs, trunk pan and front aprons soon.

After enough time wasted watching paint barely flake, I decided just to go with a 3" strip disc. Roof is solid and looking good.

I’m planning to use Ospho, then DA, and apply epoxy once I get down to the bottom of the A and C pillars.
Question: What should I do when I get to the lead?

I’m aiming to do the same treatment underneath the car once I’ve patched up the trunk. After that, I’ll move on to either the interior or the hood and trunk (both of which need some patching).

Slow but steady progress! If anyone has suggestions on the best order to tackle things, I’m all ears - there’s not much rhyme or reason to the order I’m working in right now.

if the lead is in good shape, I rough it up and bodyfill right over it......or epoxy then filler

I wouldn't let the ospho on the lead, not sure what that might do......

if you let ospho dry on the metal; re-wet and agitate with fresh ospho and rinse well with water....let dry, and sand

if you don't let the ospho dry, rinse well with water anyway.... let dry and sand
