Hello everybody,

I'm driving a 72 RR/GTX U-code. Matching numbers. Now I want to change the oil. The original 1972 Plymouth Chassis Service Manual says 4 quarts (+1 additional quart with filter change). Now I found a technical service bulletin where it says that this information is wrong abd that it's 6 quarts (+1 additional quart with filter change). I believe this is right. Just asking here if I'm right?
Think my oilpan is original, but can't find any stamping (402 or so) on it.
Thank you!

When the pan is curved and follows the shape of the K member you have the big pan....

72 U-codes use an 854 pan which is 6 quart.

Thanks a lot guys! Appreciate that!
I'll put 6 quarts + 1 with filter change.
