Shrink tube hose clamps.

If IIRC, I got it from Jegs, you can buy the straights and 90s. Its a mild grade of stainless that I was able to mig. Cleaned up easy with 80 grit disc and scotch brite on a 2" grinder. Seems are barely noticable.
I still have the box at the shop, I'll let you know for sure this weekend.
Here's some better pics...
HT the front is what Ford called a Monte Carlo Bar...and is supposed to stiffen the shock towers, the back is an export brace that from what I found was supposed to go on cars destined for other country's where the roads were little more than trails...but I've never seen a mustang, falcon ect without one...I've seen a lot of trick pieces that were made from hiem joints & adjusting sleeves....
I've wondered how much flexing goes on in the front of a b body and if something like it could be utilized if it was an issue...

So...question? How does that hard tube work out when the motor shifts with torque? What gives? The shrink joints?

Well we haven't had any issues yet, the sbf is pretty stock not a whole lot of movement, the 55 dynoed 530/500 and I romp on it quiet a bit with no issues.
The tubing does not actually touch the necks ( it's about 1/4-3/8" shy of touching), the short link of hose that acts as the coupler also isolates and allows the motor to flex.

Let me see if I understand you....there is a short length of actual hose under the shrink clamp, connecting them together? Or did u mean the shrink clamp itself flexes?

Correct, the clamps are just that. clamps.... Look close at my pics and you will see the hose. I could have made the hose a little shorter and butted the two grips up and make it look like one solid piece ,but I didn't think of it until I installed it, lol!

Oh, ok, I see it now, did not notice that. Thanks. BTW my 67 Coronet came out of Texas up to NY state where I bought it.

My buddy used the Gates clamps on his 37 Ford hot rod. Had to pull the radiator twice for various problems so had to cut the clamps off. Not real economical if you do it his way but they look cool...
That peaked my curiosity and had to look them up. $3 -$5 for the clamps. $35 for a removal tool.
