sitting low in the rear

I feel the same way about the 73-74 Road Runners. They seem too high in the front and too low in the back. I'm having a 440 put in my 74, so I'll see what impact on the front that has, then probably put new springs in the rear.
They may but its an optical illusion because the front wheel arches are rounder that the back ones.

this is mine on stock springs that came on the car. 275-60-15 rears and 225-70-15 fronts

Maybe, but looking at my car and others, it looks like there should be an inch or two max between the tire and lip in the front, and I've got like four going there. :(
 
that's pretty good for a Plymouth as the wheel wells are more shallow than the charger

Your post made me think - the 09 Challenger suffers from too much air time above the front tires. Not really a squat/stance problem. Chin spoilers drag easy so I hesitate to lower the front.
