Six pack fuel lines

I purchased a new set of lines and the elbow for the inboard carb is too short about 1/2 inch. Should I just bend it to fit or is it a defective part?

What "lines" did you purchase from where? Post a picture.
Should look something like this..........

Can you return or exchange them? You aren’t going to bend it to fit, you will bend it to leak. LOL
