Got an invite to display in The RO/WO anniversary display. Seems like nobody I know is going. I'm thinking about passing on the whole deal. Lots of time and money, to sit around bored.

That's my thoughts exactly.

Hell yeah, I'm going!

Sit around bored? I never get to see everything that I want to before I'm too tired! If you get bored at Chryslers @ Carslisle, you need to take up another hobby!

Yes I will be there. Room is reserved and paid for. My '77 Cordoba will be in the "Survivor Tent". This is the first time I will be staying for the weekend. In the past I have just done a one day deal on Saturday.

With the grace of God, i will be there and looking forward to seeing Resq, K-kid and RC again. Hope to meet other forum members as well. I haven't been bored there but i was overwhelmed with all the awesome cars and of course the weather being so hot.

It's generally nicer in Michigan, that time of year. Everybody I know who's gone in the past...says it's always sweltering.

I'm more of a monster mopar (or something along them lines) guy. These old mopars are a lot more fun to hammer on then they are too look at. Not much for talking about fast a car should be even though its never been down a track, if the numbers on the oil filter are dated correctly, or if it's a 1 of 1 pink car with green interior.. the lawn chair bs drives me nuts. Then again I'm in my 30's not 60's.

Can't hardly afford to race real factory racecars, anymore. That's why I sold the Aspen. I've niched myself into very powerful show-cars.

I can't either, that's why I play with 383 cars... lol

If I could be sure nothing would happen to them.....but we know there are no guarantees on racetracks.

We'll definitely be there, God willing. Spend all day Friday walking the swap meet, car corral, and vendors tents. Saturday try to catch as much of the cars on the field, and pick up everything I ordered, or found for my projects. The best part I think is seeing all my friends, and making some new from around the Country. Always plenty of laughs, and a few cold ones to wash it all down...

I probably won't be there. From where I am, I can do the Nationals or Carlisle pretty easy but I usually do one or the other and this year I'm planning the nats. For those that have never done Carlisle though, this is a really awesome show. You don't get the on site drag racing but I think it is a more organized show than the nationals are and if you are looking for parts in the pits, all the east coast guys are at both but since Carlisle is a month before the nationals, you get a better selection

I'll be in my usual space NE1468 paying folks to get in line for autographs next door.
See ya there as always - I'm the guy wearing the Mopar Performance hat.
