So I'm seeing a lot of SB mopars on Mecum...

...and I have a question. More than a few of the engine shots, of multiple small blocks, both orange and turquoise, show the water bypass hose (water pump to intake) and its clamps, painted block color.

Is this correct? Seems odd to me...but so many of them are like that, it must not be wrong....

Most recent was a 69 Dart 340...

Gotcha. I guess all my cars have been too "used" (and maintained), and have nonoriginal hoses.
