Spoiler recommendations 72 Plymouth

I don't know about you. The guy who made that RR in the magazine was young.

I'm not really into the whole blending of old and new thing, like putting big wheels/little rubber, modern drive trains, modern interiors, air suspensions, slamming, strobes, shaving/frenching, Lambo doors, moving bumper ends inward, etc. To me those are all fads that are super hot for a few years, and then you see people trying to bring the car back to more of a 70s look again. Kinda like music. Every few years we hear about some new genre that's going to mean the end of good old rock & roll, and before long the new genre is out the door and Led Zeppelin and AC/DC are still playing on the airwaves.

I suspect 95% of the new stuff being done to cars will be known in a few years as "what the Hell was that guy thinking when he did that?"

I agree with you Bruzilla. I like to keep my car more period correct. BTW- Nothing like good old rock n roll . I personally like the period correct rear spoiler. The spoiler on those AMC's, etc looks good on those cars, not so much on a B-body IMOP.

In the early 80's, Chrysler sold this spoiler through direct connection. It was ABS, not fiberglass. But I think it was designed for the Duster. P4120358 was the part number.

Grew up with these cars back in the 60's and most were low quality, poorly assembled and wore out quickly. I appreciate folks installing new technology in these old boats. However, I Still enjoy the styling and memories that resurface when driving one of these old time capsules. Everybody has their own tastes and likes to show it in their cars. Just appreciate those that appreciate love for old iron

I think its just plain sheet metal like the front for nascar

I went for the duck tail for the function more than looks, I came close to using a superbird wing, until I saw the prices:frustrated:

That does show something I would like to do, which is relocate the fuel tank inlet to the quarter so I don't have to play the automotive version of hide the weenie every time I go to put gas in my 74.

I feel better now that I'm not the only one thinking the quarter panel fuel inlet looks cool !
That really isn't much if a spoiler, is it ? What, 1 inch maybe ?

I think the top mounted fuel caps like the Challengers and Chargers had looked cool. I don't know that the quarter mounted cap would be cool so much as a whole lot more convenient, especially for us old and tall guys who hate having to bend in half to see the fuel inlet.
