Unless you are running drag radials, little point in extra power/torque as all you will be doing is making tyre smoke. I get that you are aiming at a stock resto, but skinny tyres ain't fun with a heavy car and even a stock 440. You can go wider 15" wheels/tyres and keep a stock look. Sorry it's off topic, but this will have a far bigger influence on your drive than which piston or cam.I will be running the original dana 60 with 3.55 gears and 4 speed with 225/70/ 14 tires.
