Purists look away now. I have been trying to find a picture of a snorkel on one of these cars. No luck. Because it is sacrelig! But hey, I had to see it for myself. It is one of Mopar’s best scoops and one of the best bodies. There are similar curves. I have a snorkel and will likely never have the correct car to put under it. It does kinda blend with the body. I’m after a bird bath hood but I might pop some holes in this flat hood and mount it for fun. View attachment 1442859

That is my favourite Mopar scoop. I ran one on my 69 cuda, and my buddy I raced with ran one on his 73 Roadrunner. I say go for it!
 
Regarding the blank fender tag. I've always heard that they wired them up to hang from the rear view mirror mounting holes to get painted with the car. I wonder if they hung it and it fell down before the stamping and paint process...
 
Well that was a pain I the ***. I am doing a roof skin on StuBBle and whoever put the windshield in knew how to do it properly. No big deal, other than it is still mint condition. So I had to save it. The black windshield adhesive is still sticky! But I got it out without cracking it. Hopefully the back is easier. The parts car has a broken windshield but an electric rear. I’ll have to save that.

I went to a local glass shop and asked for a windshield box. It’s still in that dam box!
 
Your build is even more impressive than I thought, because it seems the red parts car is a Nova!

Yes. I was going to get the wife to help. Then I thought if I did that it would mean I was in a hurry and would probably try too hard. So I just plugged along slowly. I love how these old windshield have brown tint!

A friend of mine told me the roof skin really isn’t that hard to do. I’m sure glad the parts car roof is good. These are not repopped. I decided to use an air die grinder to buzz the spot welds. Then I bent a screwdriver to be my wedge. One side is free. About a half hour to do this. I won’t get it all done today though. Priorities are gonna take over.

I haven’t decided whether I will use the 74 Sebring roof or a 74 Charger I have available. I think the Charger will be less overall modification to fit the 71 Plymouth. At least my research implies that. So I figured I would make a little template for the wing mount holes. I don’t know that I will put a wing on, I do have a Go wing, but there is a chance and I have to weld up the holes somebody else drilled in.

The result. I drilled the corners so they would kinda look factory. Then I used a zip disc to cut a square section out. A carbide die grinder made the finishing touches. Perfect? No. Damn close? Yes.
