Stumble under hard acceleration. Timing? New carb, GM HEI, eCore coil

Go to their site, in the tech section, and ask your question in an email. I've never failed to get an answer within a day when I've done this. AND, the fueling amount is adjustable depending on the temperature. Remember, FiTech is based on OEM parameters since it was designed by OEM engineers. Ask the guys who made it if you want solutions...
 
Have you checked your float levels in your carb? They need to be spot on and can cause what your symptoms are.. Mine were a touch high and my car would flood out when coming to a stop....
 
Thanks for all the advice on this. Good call PurpleBeeper, as I think I've narrowed it down to fuel pressure. The standard carter mechanical will not keep up. This is likely as I'm using a Holley 12-803BP By-Pass regulator. Using the bypass the pressure to the carb is around 3 psi but will not go higher with any regulator adjustment. The Demon carb requires 6psi, so likely not enough fuel at full throttle. Reviewing the Holley Regulator it details "Cannot be used with mechanical fuel pumps. Not for use with fuel pumps intended for fuel injection or pumps that provide more than 14 psi" so I should have caught this. So this leads to my next question....Carter Strip mechanical (6.9-8.1 psi) or Carter Electric P4600HP (4.5 to 8 psi). I wonder if the Carter Strip mechanical will work with the Holley by-pass regulator, as I really prefer this direction over electric. Electric with all the relay wiring, re-plumbing and carrying a spare. Or do i get rid of the Holley regulator, and stick with my current pump? How would I keep the return line without the regulator? I really like having a bypass to prevent vapor lock I've experienced much in Texas summers. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
