T-56 6 speed shifting capability ?

How quick can the T-56 be shifted and will it hold up to that kind of abuse? I'm changing direction with the trans I have which is a Jerico because I'll be on the street much more than the track but still want a solid trans that I can shift without letting off the gas. The Jerico isn't exactly street friendly.....

I've shifted mine without even using the clutch just to see if it would but shifting in general is effortless. I've never noticed a delay in any shifts and the transitions threw the gears are all nice and smooth. If concerned about durability just look into the T56 Magnum, pretty beafy units.
